As of this writing, I know of 17 separate bishops who have responded to the announcement that Notre Dame would be honoring President Obama at this year's commencement. The ND Response team has compiled that list here. It is amazing the backlash has been what it has. I hope that perhaps getting some of these letters will inspire President Jenkins to do a little soul searching.
